Custom chassis for chalets
For chalets there are international standards with respect to width measurements. But Thomassen Metaalbouw goes a step further. Do you want chalets of different dimensions? If so, we will supply custom undercarriages with both length and width based on the profile closest to the desired dimensions. This also applies to weight. Standard chalet chassis can carry a weight of 6 to 10 tons. If you need a heavier construction, we have many options.
Preservation of chalet chassis
We build chalet chassis from steel. Steel can be preserved in a variety of ways. For some parts of the chalet chassis, treatment is unnecessary. We will leave these parts either untreated or apply a black coating. We can also coat the steel in two layers or hot-dip galvanize. Do you want your chalet undercarriages powder coated? We can do that, too.
